Bilateral Business Summit Series

Welcome to the 2012 Edition of the Bilateral Business Summit Series. The Mexico Chapter will take place on 26-27 September 2012 in León / Guanajuato, so register fast!

The objective of the Business Summit Series is to gather entrepreneurs and companies – with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) – in order to exchange their respective experiencies and to establish new networks and cooperation schemes in both the Mexican and the European markets.

Having in mind the long-lasting excellent relationship between the countries, Mexico is the perfect entry-hub for North- and South America via NAFTA and other Free Trade Agreements. With a young population of 112 million inhabitants and the highest GDP/capita in the region it also is an attractive consumer market. The FTA with the European Union also offers Mexican companies interesting fields of activity in Europe(for example via investments and M&A). Both regions also complement each other in the global search for talents, since Europe faces a demographic challenge and Mexico can offer access to young, motivated and well-educated professionals.

The Bilateral Business Summit Series was initiated in 2011 with the first Edition carried out in two chapters: Dresden, Germany and Querétaro, Mexico.
